Gregory & Sarah ~ married

Have I mentioned that I LOVE Joseph, Oregon? Oh, I sure do. And when Sarah contacted me to photograph her wedding in the very heart of this special Eastern Oregon town, I was more than excited for the opportunity. Add to that, the sweetest bride and groom, and I honestly couldn’t be more in heaven. Celebrating the love of Gregory and Sarah was a dream come true and the day did not disappoint in any way. The bride picked the perfect cabin overlooking the magnificent Wallowa Lake to spend the morning with her favorites ladies as they were prepped and pampered by a dream styling team. Every detail of the day incorporated special moments, memories and locations dear to the hearts of the bride and groom. And this first look in the enchanted forest of “Grandmother’s Place”. . . well, we were all sobbing happy tears as they read their heartfelt and personal vows to each other. As a photographer, it was perfection and what we always strive for in these tender and private moments.

When in Rome . . . or better yet, When in Joseph ~ you can’t deny the beauty as you drive through the downtown area, so there was no chance we were going to miss the opportunity to stop traffic and capture a little wedding party magic. It was all cheering and no horn honking from the locals as we walked the streets on this gorgeous fall day. Have I mentioned that I LOVE Joseph, Oregon? Ha, I sure do.

Lastly, if you are going to do it, you might as well do it right and just say your ‘I Do’s’ at the famous Harley Tucker arena. Maybe then, party all night long in the Thunder Room. It’s Joseph, Oregon after all and you only live once.
