Pilot Rock High School Class of 2017

I’m so thankful that Braydon was able to take the time to hang out with me yesterday afternoon while we captured his senior photos. His schedule is CRAZY! . . .but, we made it happen. This amazing gentleman is a senior in my hometown of Pilot Rock and I could not be more proud of the way he is representing our local youth.

His kindness, gentle demeanor and maturity is well beyond what you will see in mainstream, but one of my favorite qualities of his has to be his quiet confidence. I am a dreamer of ‘great ideas’ (mostly after my typical morning coffee consumption), so when I mentioned doing part of our session at the football field while the rest of his team was practicing, I expected at the very least some heavy sighing and hesitation. To my surprise, “sure” was the answer. And as we took the photos, I did not witness one single moment of embarrassment, but more pride in his representation of his team and school.

In fact, when I asked him how his team was doing this year . . . “Not great, but it’s about being together everyday as a team. I love this team.”

Well, he might just have a few very important things figured out. Carry on, Rockets!
